I never know what I want to make until the very last minute. This piece was kind of a break from my hard work from the previous piece. I wanted to be creative in my subject matter and think of things no one would ever expect. I really appreciate high fashion. To many people it is a misunderstood form of art, with pieces that range from simple to insanely complicated. I love this form of art because of it being so underrated. I love exploring different cultures and as dancer I love to explore different world styles of dance. Flamanco definitely spoke to me considering the style of clothing that these dancers would wear traveled all the way to the States in the late 1700's- early 1800's. My concept was to take a flamenco dress, add an extremely long train, with real flowers. Yes there is some things that could be fixed with more detail oriented lines but overall it is not a terrible piece compared to my first two pieces. Nothing can be as bad as those. I can only go up and I have been. I think the flowers as an accent definitely worked especially with the light source. I could've taken out the blue "blob", but I didn't want to leave the background so I just put something there. Overall, It is just an adequate piece. Nothing over the top technicaly sound but it was not terrible so I feel indifferent about it.
